Gurudev Shri Amritji is the original carrier of the Kripalu Shaktipat Lineage to the West. This ancient lineage from which he came ignited the fire that began the initial renaissance of the Inner Dimension of Yoga in the 20th century.
Since 1960, Amritji has founded some of the largest yoga and health centers in North America. Amritji currently resides at the Amrit Yoga Institute, an internationally recognized training and wellness center in Salt Springs, Florida. Thousands of yoga, yoga nidra and yoga therapy teachers have been trained in his modalities worldwide. Today, Amritji continues to share the ancient depths, hidden meanings and modern applications of the authentic yogic roots from which he began.

Home of Gurudev Shri Amritji, one of the last living yoga masters from the original 1960s wave, still actively teaching community classes every Friday and Sunday at 11am. Since 2002, we have supported students seeking authentic wisdom and experiential practice. A non-profit institute accredited by Yoga Alliance and IAYT, we offer credentialed certifications in Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Yoga Therapy, as well as retreats and transformational programs for spiritual seekers of all backgrounds.
